Park Entry Fees

Not everyone who visits EcoPark wants to fish. Therefore, fees are separated to suit the needs of visitors. Entry fees enables use of the park, free use of our picnic and BBQ facilities. Entry fees are as follows:

• $10 for adults
• $5 children ages 2 to 11 years
• Free entry - children under 2

A deposit fee is required for all fishing equipment hired. This deposit is returned to you when you return all the hired fishing equipment. Lost or damaged equipment will incur a replacemnt cost.

Fishing Permit Fees (in addition to park entry fees)

Each fishing permit fee allows the use of 1 rod for the day. Rods can be shared within your group and you can even swap between types of fishing (spinning reel to fly rod, bait to lures, etc). Eco park supplies you with your initial set of bait and hooks, whether you stay for a couple hours or the whole day. All ponds are available for fishing and we can give free fishing advice for the beginner for a great day. We also give pre-booked lessons on all different types of fishing for either bait, fly and lure on the day.

FISHING PERMIT FOR DAY $25 AND INCLUDES:

• 1 rod, bait, nets and tackle - Rod can be shared within your group.
  ($25.00 for fishing permit per rod)
• Yes you can bring your own rod for example: Bait, fly, and lure fishing rods. Bait, nets, and tackle still included. Tackle boxes are not permitted for the safety of customers and the fish. Whilst you can bring your own rods we will supply you with degradable hooks, which will be supplied on the day. ($25.00 for fishing permit per rod.)

Park Information

Deposit

For small groups fishing or BBQ, no pre-booking or deposit is necessary; just turn up at the door prepared for a fun day. To secure your preferred spot for large groups a 25% deposit of the estimated entry and fishing component is required.
For all catered functions, a deposit of 50% of the estimated catering component is required.

You may like to come and inspect our park and reserve a specific area for your group, where you can then also discuss details about any other equipment which you may need, like additional seating, trestle tables, marquee, umbrellas etc.

Catering and Waiters

EcoPark prides itself in offering a flexible service and meeting the needs of individual visitors to the park and can offer a range of alternatives including making your day an enjoyable experience.

Alcohol

The availability of bar/waiter service for drinks can be negotiated and EcoPark is a BYO alcohol facility.

Pets not permitted

People love to bring their pets out for the day as well, but it can upset the quiet enjoyment of others as well as the fauna in the park. For this reason pets are not permitted in the park.
